Online Benefits Enrollment and Employee Onboarding Two new products are showcased in this session: Employee Onboarding and Benefits Enrollment, both of which will be made available to HRPyramid customers from F.W. Davison & Company through a partnership with OpenNotus. Tightly integrated with HRPyramid, these SAAS applications have been developed specifically with the PEO/ASO outsourcing industry in mind and, in collaboration with Davison, have been tightly integrated with HRPyramid. These products are being offered exclusively to HRPyramid customers with a pricing model that is in line with outsourcing companies' budgetary constraints.

Importing Benefits in HRPyramid Importing benefit enrollment information from a client or third-party administrator can save time and errors. This session will demonstrate the new Importing Benefits process in HRPyramid. It would be of interest to any customer (including ASP) who needs or wants to import benefit enrollments from an external source. Attendees will learn how best to utilize this new utility for existing as well as future third party benefit integration projects. |

Understanding the Set Up for PEO / ASO Client Accounting in HRPyramid There is a great challenge in setting up the PEO / ASO Client Accounting in HRPyramid. This session will cover how to interpret, from your client’s chart of accounts, the necessary structure to enter the account numbers in the set up screens. We will cover where in HRPyramid the system is getting the data to assign the G/L accounts numbers and how those affect the resulting report or download file. We will also cover the use of “wildcards” in the PEO Client Accounting and “prefix/suffix” in the ASO Client Accounting and how you can use those tools to create the results needed for more complicated chart of account structures. Finally we will cover the reports and downloads that can be created to send to your clients.
Those attending this session should have a basic understanding of the HRPyramid payroll process. They should also be familiar with company setup; including the use of divisions, departments, locations, and projects. This session will be at a basic to intermediate level. This session should be attended by users who have the responsibility for setting up the client or processing their payrolls, including Payroll Managers, Controllers, and CFO’s. |

The New Benefits Reconciliation Module This session will cover the process HRPyramid has created to reconcile benefit transactions. We will cover the process of taking information from your insurance carriers and using it to reconcile the employee transactions with the insurance carrier invoice. This will be done via the new Benefits Reconciliation Module created within the HRPyramid system. By attending this session you will come away with a better understanding of how HRPyramid processes benefit plans and deductions. With that understanding you will be able to better know where to get the information to reconcile benefits to the carrier invoice. You will be shown the tools created within HRPyramid to assist in this process, thus speeding up the time it takes to do the reconciliation and identify possible trouble areas. This session will be at an intermediate to advanced level. This session should be attended by users who have the responsibility to monitor the client’s benefits including, but not limited to Benefits Specialists, Benefits Managers, Accounting Managers, Controllers, and CFO’s.
Encryption State regulations require that Personal Information including certain aspects of payroll data be encrypted. We will discuss what needs to be considered and the industry standard solutions for transmitting, storing and moving of that data. |

Migrating HRPyramid to SBXA Rocket U2 has recently released SB/XA (System Builder Extensible Architecture) version 6.0.2, its long awaited upgrade to the System Builder development platform. This upgrade brings a host of exciting new features, including a new presentation client which allows HRPyramid to be deployed through a browser. The new client supports vector graphics which allows screen resizing and a much richer user interface. In addition, connection resilience has been greatly improved using a middle-tier communications server. This session is aimed at customer IT professionals that are responsible for maintaining and upgrading the HRPyramid system for their company. We will discuss our recommendations for migrating to SB/XA, as well as the technical changes that will be necessary to transition to this new release. A live demonstration of HRPyramid running with SB/XA will be shown.
BLS Multiple Worksite Report Save time and postage by transitioning from mailing a paper copy of the BLS 3020 - Multiple Worksite Report to uploading an electronic version of the report. A representative from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics will provide information on how to produce the report in HRPyramid and file electronically with the BLS. The BLS representative will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions and distribute information as needed. |

Impact of Healthcare Reform You have, of course, heard about the New Healthcare Reform Bill being enacted? You probably wish you hadn't, as there seem to be more questions than answers regarding this bill! During this session, we will layout a plan of future discussions to dissect and identify the requirements and subsequent changes triggered by the bill, and of course, what it all means for HRPyramid. Considering the complexity of the PEO/Client relationship, this will be first of many discussions and client collaboration regarding this topic. |

Garnishments Update Garnishment processing in HRPyramid has been updated to provide a greater level of compliance. This session will review the changes that have been made to underlying methods of calculating child support and other common types of creditor garnishments. The new State Garnishment Rules setup screen will also be reviewed. This session is appropriate for any end-user who is involved in the setup and processing of employee garnishments.
Risk Management This session will review the HRPyramid Workers Comp Claims management module. At the last conference, we reviewed the concept whereas at this user conference we will review the working module.The workers comp claim management tracks the life cycle of a claim with the advantage of being integrated into HRPyramid. |
